Modest beginnings, rapid development

It all started with a simple home delivery service provided by bike couriers. Very quickly, as e-commerce took off and logistics needs grew, we integrated scooters to optimise our deliveries. At the same time, we launched a revolutionary application, enabling geolocated deliveries on demand. This innovation has made Paps the first company in French-speaking Africa to offer this type of service.

At the time, our application facilitated deliveries for various businesses, such as pharmacies, grocery shops and restaurants. But we soon identified major challenges, not least the lack of registered addresses, making deliveries complex. This prompted us to think about solutions that were better adapted to the needs of businesses.

Meeting the logistics challenges facing companies

Many companies were bringing their delivery services in-house, resulting in high costs and complex management. Others were turning to informal alternatives, often unreliable, with no guarantee of security or transparency. To overcome these difficulties, we decided to reorientate our services towards B2B (business-to-business). Today, Paps offers customised logistics solutions tailored to the realities on the ground and the specific challenges facing African businesses.
